TRS / TRP Definitions TRS measures the degree to which the site production capacities are used Useful working time(1) TRS = Synthetic rate of return = Machine switch-on time(2)

TRP measures the efficiency to which the site uses capacities when they are on a scheduled production Useful working time TRP = Production rate of return = Scheduled Time(3) (1) (2) (3)

Useful working time = number of good parts X unitary cycle time of the installation / machine Machine switch-on time = 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 52 weeks a year Scheduled time = time during which the production is responsible for the installation / machine

For consolidation (Site – Branch – Group) the global rate is weighted by gross value of the equipments / machines (investment ≥ 200 K€) November 2009

MTTR Definition M.T.T.R. = Mean Time To Repair MTTR is the average time needed to repair an equipment, each “time to repair” beginning at the time the machine shut down and finishing when the equipment is working at the standard cycle time.
