2. Bentinckia nicobarica Bentinckia nicobarica is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family found to occur in Nicobar group of islands in the Bay of Bengal. This is an endemic Palm occurring in Great Nicobar, Katchal, Nancowry and Car Nicobar Islands.The occurrence of this species in Andaman and Nicobar group of islands other than Katchal Island is yet to be confirmed as natural/escape or by human introduction. It is an endangered species according to IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, 2016 with Red List Category & Criteria as C2a ver 2.3. Living specimens of this taxon is conserving at Indian Botanic Garden, Howrah and at the Field Gene Bank of Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram in India.

Bentinckia nicobarica grows about 20m tall and girth is about 25 cm.[1] The stems are used by the local people in house and fence construction. It is generally seen along with other palm species such as Areca catechu, Pinanga manii and Rhopaloblaste augusta.

3. Phalaenopsis speciosa

found on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands at low elelvations as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with flattened roots, a short stem enveloped completely by leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying 4 to 5, elliptic-obovate, tapered at the base, acute to obtuse, convex leaves that blooms in the late spring through earler winter on a arching to subpendant, to 12" [to 30 cm] long, racemose or paniculate inflorescence with showy, very fragrant flowers.

4. Ampelocissus helferi Ampelocissus helferi is the only species under the section Kalocissus of the genus Ampelocissus represented in India. This species was collected again in 1976, after a lapse of more than one hundred years of the type collection, from S. Andaman.

Largo climbing shrubs; branches terete, pale tomentose when young. Leaves 5-7-foliolate, pedate, coriaceous, glabrous above; nerves pubescent beneath; petioles 6-10 cm long; terminalleaflets lanceolate, ca 14 x 6 cm, acuminate at apex, attenuate at base, serrate at margins; petiolules ca 2 cm long; lateral leaflets 9-12 x 3.5-5 cm, oblique at base, margins and apex as in terminal leaflets; petiolules ca 1 cm long. Inflorescences racemes of spike, ca 20 cm; peduncles ca10 cm long, tomentose; tendrils simple, ca 10 cm long, tomentose; primary branch of inflorescence ca 5. cm long; long. Flowers ca 1.5 mm long. Calyx 5-lobed, membranous. Petals ca 1.5 x 0.6 mm. Stamens ca 1 mm long. Disc covering about half of ovary. Ovary ca 1 mm across. Fruits oblong-ovoid.
