Here is a guide I want to share with people who have the prepack and may have gi ven up due to errors etc... The first time I installed the prepack and tried the v2 3DM crack, it loaded and after I set the screen gamma/brightness it crashed... ERR_SYS_FILELOAD: Corrupt game data. Please reboot or re-install the game. http: //i.imgur.com/zSkSglL.jpg :34: 1. A Little Background Info Differences of PrePack (36.4 GB) vs Full Retail DVD (60 GB) For those that don't know, the PrePack is based on the Full Retail DVD. The PrePack has the Day 1 Update (Update 1) included, the Full Retail DVD does n ot! The PrePack does NOT include certain files: \update\x64\metadata.dat \update\x64\dlacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mppatchesng\dlc.rpf The 'metadata.dat' is required, and is added during section 4. Applying Update 2 + Crack below. The dlacks\mp<xxxx> folders\files were removed, as they were originally believ ed to only be MultiPlayer (MP) DLC's. As it turns out, some missions were not playable, and I discovered you actually needed 1 of them.

The most crucial is the 'mppatchesng' (Fixes TONYA's Strangers and Freaks Missio n). The remaining missing DLC files, can be ed from section 10. Missing/Stri pped MP DLC Folders/Files below. The other final difference and the reason for PrePack's (and RePack's for that m atter) is Compression! This is so people like me, who have limited bandwidth, can save time and GB data ing. The Trade Off Due to the highly compressed files of the PrePack, as with anything compressed, time is needed to un-compress the files! All up from start to finish on my (4-core 4-thread) i5-2500K @4GHz it took ~3 ho urs. Another IMPORTANT factor, is when un-compressing the files, it is possible for e rror's to occur! What Can We Do? After we have installed the game, and to ensure that the files we have installed from the PrePack are IDENTICAL to those of the Full Retail DVD, we can compare the Cyclical Redundancy Check (CRC) checksum of the files. An SFV file available below, contains the CRC checksum of the files from the Ful l Retail DVD. We also need a program that uses that SFV file to perform the check (QuickSFV). See section 3. Installed Files CRC Checksum Verification (SFV) below. 2. PrePack Installation Guide Before you begin, I have a feeling that you should NOT create a free R* Social C lub ! And do NOT try to configure it at all! You should NOT install to a directory that contains special characters\symbols e tc... Steps to install and run the game: 1. So you have ed CorePack's Prepack :rolleyes: If you have 37 files (i.e. part01, part02, etc...) 2. Extract the 2 ISO files from the RAR's (37 files) using WinRAR or 7Zip (Right click the first part01 (i.e. PRE-GTAV.part01.rar) and choose 'Extract Here'). ~12 minutes 3. You now have 2 ISO's 'PRE-GTAV_D1.iso' and 'PRE-GTAV_D2.iso' 4. Ensure you have 100GB of free space on HDD where you choose to install the ga me! Please also note you should NOT get any error's during installation! i.e "Unarc.dll / ISDone.dll Error Code -8" (if you do, please see https://corepa cks.co...ll-error-code-8) 5. Mount your 'PRE-GTAV_D1.iso' (with Daemon Tools or simply use Windows 8's i nbuilt virtual drive, i.e. double-click .iso) 6. Choose to Install and select a file location ~28 minutes 7. Once complete, click finish. 8. Mount your 'PRE-GTAV_D2.iso' 9. Choose to Install and select the same location (step 6) NOTE: You may get another warning here about free space, however you just copied about 70GB from DVD1, so I beleive you maybe able to ignore this message, howev er I did not!

~6 minutes 10. The Processing Files (batch un-compressing) command windows begin... This do es take time, please be patient and do not close them! ~2 hours 20 minutes 11. Once complete, push any key in the command prompt window (like it says to do ), and click finish. PLEASE SEE section 4. Applying Update 2 + Crack below before continuing! Now you may wish to add the missing DLC folders/files, if you have ed th em: \update\x64\dlacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mppatchesng\dlc.rpf At this point, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to follow the steps in section 3. Instal led Files CRC Checksum Verification (SFV) below! If you have verified your installed files, and it check's out, you are ready to continue. RECOMMENDED: Block 'GTA5.exe' in your firewall, and disable your Anti-Virus. 12. Right-Click... Run As ... 'Launcher.exe' (<-- this is 3DM, DO N OT RUN GTAVLauncher.exe!!!!) 13. Have fun :2guns: 3. Installed Files CRC Checksum Verification (SFV) **UPDATED** For Update 2 + Cr ack HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Follow these steps to your installed game files: 1. the SFV files from below MIRRORS: SFV's 2. and Install QuickSFV version 2.36 for 64-bit Windows http://www.quic ksfv.org/qsfv236x64.exe 3. Put the 'GTAV.sfv' file in your " " and double click it! 4. Let the verification run for as long as it takes... (it is checking the CRC o f your files) What You Want To See You are looking for green ticks, like my screenshot http://i.imgur.com/7WC09JO.j pg If you haven't put any Missing DLC folders/files in, you will obviously fail the se: \update\x64\dlacks\mpchristmas2\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mpheist\dlc.rpf \update\x64\dlacks\mppatchesng\dlc.rpf BUT You can still launch and play the game! (just wont have Strangers and Freaks etc...) If you get an error on any OTHER file (like I did the first time, with 'x64l.rpf ' for example) you are going to have to re-install the game or acquire those fil es. This is because something went wrong during your installation or processing (uncompressing) files phase. I know it takes time, but it's worth it! You don't need to re- anything if your ISO's SFV es it's CRC checksu m, just try the installation again.

ALTERNATIVELY: Just select the particular file(s) you need from a torrent of the Full 60GB Retail DVD, and put it in the right location obviously. NOTE: Do NOT worry if '3dmgame.dll' or 'Launcher.exe' or 'GTA5.exe' or 'update\x 64\update.rpf' fail the CRC, as you may be using a more recent update + crack. ( SFV is Update 2 + v3 crack) As per request, I have also created a SFV for the ISO's (if you would like to ve rify your ISO's are not corrupt). 1. Put the 'ISOs.sfv' in the directory where your ISO files are, and double clic k :) (ensure you have QuickSFV Installed, see Step 2. above in Installed Files CRC Checksum Verification section) EDIT 21/04: Removed RARs.sfv as it is not important, and your source may have be en different. Install R* Games Social Club using the 'Setup.exe' you have in the "Installer s" folder DO NOT TRY TO USE A FREE OR EVEN OPEN IT! 5. Social Club Issues What should happen if everything goes well for you, when you run 'Launcher.exe' the game starts and it should automatically to R* Social Club using "3dm game1" (in the top right of screen). Use regedit and navigate to and delete [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432No de\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Rockstar Games Social Club] (so th ere are no traces of it ever being installed) 5. Delete "C:\s\<name>\Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club" directory. 6. Re-install R* Games Social Club as ... 6. Change Language Use Regedit and navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\rockstar ga mes\Grand Theft Auto V] and change "Language"="en-US" 7. Switch-able Graphics (i.e. Laptops "Launcher.exe" not doing anything) I believe this only relates to Intel + NVIDIA consumers: 1. Change in switch-able graphics 'GTA5.exe' to "Power Saving Mode" 2. Browse to "C:\s\<name>\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V" directory 2. Open your 'settings.xml' file with notepad or text editor 3. Find the line and change to 5. The game will run on "Power Saving Mode" via switch-able, and as soon as it l oads, and you can see the game... 6. Change from "Power Saving Mode" to "High Performance" 7. It will show a blank screen to some people for some seconds, and then BOOM th e game should work :rolleyes: 8. No Cops/Police during Prologue / Self Radio No Sound Issue This is usually caused by issues during the install phase, and most notably miss ing file/s: ' \update\x64\dlacks\patchday2ng\dlc.rpf' ' \update\x64\dlacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf' If you ran the SFV check mentioned above in section 3. Installed Files CRC Check sum Verification (SFV) you would have seen MISSING and red crosses ;) these from the full 60GB torrent, or see section 10. Missing/Stripped M P DLC Folders/Files below. 9.
